Flame agate cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon of gorgeous flame agate, from Mexico. This stone was cut from the grand old stock material, none too easy to come by in this calibre. It features a superb pattern of flame-like plumes in a very appropriate shade of deep reddish and reddish orange hues, with some cream and pink to boot, and an eye-like spot of fortification. The background agate is a nicely translucent pastel lavender, as you can see from the backlit photo. The cab has a well rounded dome of 6mm, a bold designer shape, and a great glassy polish both front and back.
