Dryhead agate ~
Offered here is a unique cabochon of collectible Dryhead agate, from Montana. This delightful classic beauty features fortification banding in blended hues of burnt orange, some more reddish, some more yellowish, captured within the shape of the stone. There's even a few very nicely defined orbs and bullseyes for extra added character, a patch of crystal, and some razor fine bands of translucent agate. I'd have to say the color shows a bit too bright in these photos, sorry about that; it actually leans a bit more toward rusty orange. The cab has a high rounded dome of just under 6mm, a crisp designer shape, and a slick glassy polish both front and back.
