Mook jasper ~
Offered here is a splendid cabochon trio of vivid mookaite, or mook jasper, from Australia. This fine grained material, at its best, is very hard and durable, close to porcelain in nature. These stones show some amazing patterns in rich blended hues of maroon, peach, crimson, creamy ivory and yellow, even some purple. Quite lovely, to say the least, just the thing that'll make your creations stand out from all the rest! Each of the cabs has a nicely rounded dome (7.5 for the large stone, and about 3.5 for the smaller pair), with a fine glassy polish both front and back.
