Oco geode cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon cut from a slice of an Oco geode, (aka Ocho), from Brazil. This translucent agate has a lovely presence, owing to the many intricate feathery white wisps which frame its sparkly crystal-studded center. This one also has a couple patches of carnelian orange, and one nicely terminated crystal that's larger than the others. It's a designer's delight for sure! The stone has a nicely rounded dome of nearly 6mm, and a super glassy polish both front and back.
