Chrysocolla cab ~
Offered here is a unusual cab of very odd and interesting material, from Mexico. The rough came from an estate sale, but was not labelled with a specific name other than 'chrysocolla'. I presume that's what the unusual blue areas are. There are flecks of green, and patches of an olive hue, and the black areas are actually a shiny metallic, dark silver in color. I've never seen anything quite like it, have you? Surely you'll find the perfect way to show off this attractive stone with just the right setting. The cab has a very high rounded dome of 8.5mm, a gracefully curved designer shape, and a fine glossy polish both front and back.
