Tigereye in jasper cab ~
Here is a lovely cabochon of tigereye in jasper, from Australia. This darkly mysterious material is gorgeously chatoyant, with a rolling flash not well revealed by the photos. The windows of tigereye are surrounded by razor fine threads of red jasper and hematite, in a base of dark smoky brownish-green jasper. It's a fine example you're sure to treasure! This substantial stone has a very high rounded dome of 7mm, a versatile designer shape, and an excellent glassy polish both front and back.
