Wave Hill agate cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon of Australia's exciting new Wave Hill agate. This very special stone is an example of eye agate, with wild banding, orbs and bullseyes in shades of rosy red, white, and bit of gray. This world class agate brings to mind an impossible cross of ocean jasper, Lake Superior and Dryhead agates, though it has an appeal all its own. There are a couple healed lines present, but I'm finding that's quite typical of many Wave Hill agates, and the stone remains strong and sound, worthy of your best creations. The cab has a well rounded dome of 6mm, a designer ovoid shape, and a fine glassy polish both front and back.
