Brazilian agate cab ~
Offered here is a remarkable cabochon of top shelf banded agate, from Brazil. This large and striking example was cut from a prized old stock nodule, showing beautiful banding in shades of blue and blue-black, with orange scallops along one edge, interspersed with clear and subtly milky bands. When backlit the colors are transformed into warmer golden shades. It has a nicely rounded dome of 5+mm, a gracefully fluid designer 'leaf' shape, and a brilliant glassy polish both front and back.
