Marra Mamba tigereye cab ~
Offered here is a HUGE cabochon of genuine Marra Mamba tigereye, a highly collectible rarity from Australia. This startling material is, in my opinion, the most awesome tigereye in the world, and this gem's a rather unusual example. It features dancing pearly chatoyance in a near rainbow of blended hues, including salmon orange, burnt coppery red, bright gold, green and deep blue that roll and flash within the stone. At each side are a few shades of jasper, with ribbons and patches of shiny metallic hematite (some of which look like evergreen trees!), sub-metallic matrix, and scattered freckles of both. YUM! This cab has a low rounded dome of 6.5mm, a crisp designer shape just perfect for a bola or bracelet, and a fine polish both front and back.
