Prudent man plume agate cab ~
Offered here is a large, deluxe cabochon of Prudent Man plume agate, from eastern Idaho. This new material certainly cuts mighty pleasing stones, and I'm really fond of its green hued plumes, which are something of a rarity in the rock world. This one is a splendid example, with several rows of colorfully busy plumage suspended in a base of bluish and smoky translucent agate. This one has just the right touches of yellow 'flames' to create the illusion of burning bushes, complete with rising billows of 'smoke'. I don't have a lot more of this amazing plume agate to work with, so if it appeals to you, grab it! The stone has a high rounded dome of 6mm, and a crisp designer shape that's nicely polished both front and back.
