Tiger iron cab ~
Offered here is a wild cabochon of Australian tigeriron. This remarkable stone was cut from hand selected material, chosen especially for its bright gleaming flashes and blood reds. This splendid example has patches of chatoyant golden tigereye in rows, alternating with red jasper and ribbons of dark silvery metallic hematite both separating and framing them. The contrast is exceptional, truly amazing. The cab has a crisp designer 'diamond' shape, a nicely rounded dome of 5mm, and it is polished both front and back.
