Feather agate cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon of feather agate, a recent addition to the lapidary world, which hails from Indonesia. This example features a straw or feather-like pattern in cream, against a background of earthy hues that resemble rich dark chocolate fading to mocha toward the slender end. Mighty nice contrast here. Please take note, there are a couple of short lines on the backside that extend around to the side. They're barely noticeable, mentioned only for accuracy, and will be concealed by most any setting. The cab has a high rounded dome of 5.5mm, a sleek designer 'flame' shape, and a slick glassy polish both front and back.
