Ocean jasper cab ~
Offered here is a collectibly unusual cabochon of ocean jasper, from Madagascar. This particluar ocean jasper is quite unique, with a surprising variety of bullseyes and orbs in various sizes and colors. The largest eyes are very flower-like, and it's clear to see that the 'petals' are composed of tiny crystals radiating out from their edges. Other eyes resemble shelled eggs. Some areas show a gemmy translucent quality that adds a bit of depth, and the contrast here is absolutely splendid. This one's sure to be a winner you'll want to feature prominently in your jewelry showcase. It has a generously high rounded dome of 7+mm, a gracefully fluid shape, and a super glassy polish both front and back.
