Graveyard plume agate cab ~
Offered here is a splendid collector's cabochon of the classic favorite Graveyard plume agate, grand old stock from the famous digs in eastern Oregon. This eye catching example has brilliant orange carnelian agate and a festive touch of blue-gray, white and apricot plumes, each of which has a dusting of glittery flecks of grayish metallic marcasite. Apparently, this same material sometimes shows up as 'Porter plume' or marcasite plume, but I think it's magnificent no matter what moniker gets hung on it. This stone has a high rounded dome of 6mm, a gracefully curved designer shape, and a brilliantly glassy polish both front and back.
