Crazy lace agate cab ~
Offered here is a distinguished cabochon of Mexican crazy lace agate. This classic old stock material is a joy to work with, and this fascinating example does a good job of illustrating why. It has beautifully lacy fortification banding that frames tiny fingers of sagenite, very ornate and intriguing. There are also several nice orbs, scallops and bullseyes in wonderfully contrasting colors. Some of the bands are translucent, which adds a bit of depth and a hint of parallax. No doubt you'll be well pleased with this one! It has a high rounded dome of 5mm, a graceful designer shape you'll have fun with, and a great glassy polish both front and back.
