Tiger iron cab ~
Offered here is a cabochon of Australian tigeriron. This striking stone shows outstanding golden chatoyance, even some areas of pinkish orange silk, outlined with many ribbons of dark silvery metallic hematite separating the patches of tigereye. There's also some jasper in red shades from bright to dark, adding a nice touch of extra color. Please note that one band of tigereye has a slight degree of pitting, though the stone is quite solid and sound. It has a crisp designer 'flame' shape, a nicely rounded dome of 7mm, and it is polished both front and back.
