Chrysocolla malachite cab ~
Offered here is a 100% natural cabochon of chrysocolla and malachite in agate, from Arizona. The colors are striking and unusual, with areas of mossy green malachite that stand out strongly against white clouds. The translucent agate background adds a neat dimension of depth, and if you look closely, you'll see that some areas show an interesting sky blue coloration due to chrysocolla staining. Happily, this is very hard, gemmy material, which means it's durable enough for everyday wear for years to come. Definitely yummy stuff that makes fantastic jewelry! The stone has a low but nicely rounded dome of 5mm, with a smooth glassy finish both front and back.
