Offered here is a cabochon of fancy bloodstone, from India. This legendary material certainly cuts terrific, eye-catching stones! It features a unique spotted pattern in green, red and yellow tones, though it's hard to say which is the background color. My personal preferences for stones like this is a silver setting, but please feel free to follow your own capable imagination. -smile- The stone has a high rounded dome, a crisply bold shape, and a super glassy polish both front and back.
