Marra mamba cab ~
Offered here is a THRILLING cabochon of rare Marra Mamba tigereye, from Western Australia. This large and unique beauty is another from my very own personal collection, and I truly hope someone out there will appreciate and cherish this exceptionally well-patterned stone. It has but a single chatoyant 'fire' band that's variegated blue with overtones of golden yellow. The blend seems to shift and change with angle and movement, genuinely intriguing! A particularly wide band of dark silvery hematite divides the stone in a most artistic way, though the photos don't capture its reflective metallic nature atall. Lastly, there's the extra nice and colorful jaspers, which are olive green at one end, dark red with streaks of yellow lightning at the other. It all adds up to a tremendously fancy stone, and believe me when I say, you won't find better offered anywhere! It has a low but well rounded dome, polished to perfection both front and back.
