Chrysoprase cab ~
Offered here is a remarkable cabochon of Australian chrysoprase from a newly discovered find near Yerilla, Australia. Like the old Marlboro material, it's a gemmy chalcedony colored in beautiful shades of green by the presence of nickel. This particular example is nicely translucent, with fluffy clouds and threads of snowy white adding much to the visual interest. This substantial stone has a very high rounded dome of 7mm, a bold designer 'flame' shape, and a super glassy polish both front and back.
